Rivers Meeting Church History

The Rivers Meeting Society was founded in 2006 with the encouragement of the Circuit Evangelist on the circuit, Dr. Ken Baker, and was recognised as a Methodist Society by Conference in 2009.
The society is very active in discipleship and outreach, hosting a number of cross-community events annually, and having opened a Thrift Shop as an outreach of the church, and is presently seeking a new premises in Carrick.
The Rev. Noel Mills, Circuit Evangelist, works closely with the Rivers Meeting Society, providing pastoral care, and supporting the society in their mission to see God's work continue in Carrick-on-Shannon.
